If you take a step back and relax to look upon yourself, you might be able to see who you are from a different perspective. We often question the person we often see from the outside. That prompts to question our existence.
I figured happiness arrives when we defeat the fear, uncertainty and doubt. That often requires a total abandonment of the constraints that were tied within, be that the society, friends or family. That's an uphill task unless we live off the grid. As I grew older, I discovered the happiness could only come from God.
For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind. Ecclesiastes 2:26 (ESV)
